It can also predict any match: the app uses a Dixon-Coles statistical model to estimate match outcomes, expected goals (xG), and scoreline probabilities.

No. GoalIQ at goaliq.app has no YouTube channel and does not publish betting tips. It is not connected to the GOAL IQ YouTube channel, to goaliq.live or to goaliq.uk, which are separate products with a similar name. Our own channels are goaliq.app, the GoalIQ: FPL Assistant app on Google Play and the App Store, X (@goaliqapp), Bluesky (@goaliqapp.bsky.social), Instagram and TikTok (@goaliqfpl) and GitHub (GoalIQ).

Yes. The match model covers the Champions League. Win probabilities are free, and Premium adds expected goals and scoreline probabilities. A few clubs don't have enough match data, so their games aren't covered.

• Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1: supported now, seasons under way. Champions League: supported now, matchday 1 of the league phase is 8 September 2026.
• Brasileirão Série A: live right now, playing through the European summer.
• Championship, Eredivisie and Primeira Liga: supported now, seasons under way.
• UEFA Nations League 2026/27: in the app and at pro.goaliq.app/matches/predict, national teams, league phase from 24 September 2026. These predictions aren't in the public track record.

Yes. If you bought Premium at our web checkout and it is not what you expected, email hello@goaliq.app within 30 days of the payment and we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why.

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google handle refunds under their own policy, so that request goes to them rather than to us.

If you subscribed in the app, GoalIQ Premium is billed through your app store, so you cancel in your device's subscription settings:

• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GoalIQ → Cancel.
• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → GoalIQ → Cancel.

The app's Manage subscription button in the Profile tab opens those same store settings. Your Premium access remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again, and you can re-subscribe at any time.

GoalIQ Premium (web): if you subscribed at pro.goaliq.app, sign in there, open the Account menu and choose Manage subscription. That opens our Stripe billing page, where you can cancel. You can also email hello@goaliq.app and we cancel it for you. Your access stays active until the end of the paid period.

Yes. One account, premium on web, iOS and Android. If you subscribe to GoalIQ Premium on the web, premium unlocks in the mobile app when you sign in with the same account. If you already have Premium through the app store, sign in at pro.goaliq.app and Premium is active there too, no second purchase.

Predictions are probabilistic, not deterministic. A 60 % home-win probability means that, across many similar matches, the home team would win roughly 60 % of the time. It does not mean this specific match will be a home win.

The underlying model is fitted on historical match results and validated against past seasons. We tune it continuously as more data arrives.

Yes. GoalIQ is available on both the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), in both stores as GoalIQ: FPL Assistant. Coverage and features are kept in sync across both platforms, and one Premium subscription covers web, iOS and Android.

We collect the minimum needed to run the app: account email, subscription status, and anonymised usage analytics (PostHog, plus Cloudflare Web Analytics on the website). We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.

See the Delete Account page for the full process. In short: email us from your account email address and we will delete your data within 30 days.

All charges go through your app store (App Store or Google Play) or, for web subscriptions, through Stripe, at the price displayed at the time of purchase. If you see a discrepancy, contact us with the transaction details and we will investigate within 7 days.

The model's squad is frozen before every deadline. We play it in FPL as entry 116920, with our own chip calls and the occasional lineup change, and that's the team to beat in the Beat the Model mini-league (code jgi6j9). Season winner gets a year of GoalIQ Premium, free: one prize, decided by the mini-league table when the season ends.

GoalIQ is an analytics tool, not a betting platform. We do not place bets, accept wagers, or partner with bookmakers. What you choose to do with the statistical estimates is up to you, but we recommend treating them as one data point among many, not as guaranteed outcomes.
