Delete Your GoalIQ Account

You can request deletion of your GoalIQ account and associated personal
data at any time. We honor all deletion requests in accordance with
GDPR and the Finnish Data Protection Act.
How to request deletion

Send an email from your account email address to
the address below. This helps us verify the request comes from you.

Include in the message: the email address of the
GoalIQ account you wish to delete (it should match the sender).

What will be deleted
Within 30 days of your request, we will permanently delete:
- Your account email and password hash
- Your profile data (subscription status, account creation date)
- Any locally cached predictions on your device (you can also clear these by uninstalling the app)
- Your data from our authentication provider (Supabase)
What may be retained
For legal and tax compliance, we may need to retain limited records:

Billing records: If you ever made a Premium payment,
invoice records are retained by Stripe for 6 years (Finnish accounting
law requirement). These contain only the transaction amount, date, and
a Stripe-internal customer ID. They do not include your account
password or other personal data.

Anonymized aggregate analytics: Statistics about app
usage that cannot be traced back to individual users.
Cancel an active subscription first
If you have an active GoalIQ Premium subscription, please cancel it
before requesting account deletion:
- App Store or Google Play subscriptions: cancel in your
device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings → your name →
Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Subscriptions), or open GoalIQ →
Profile tab → tap Manage subscription
- Web subscriptions (pro.goaliq.app): email us at the
address below and we cancel immediately
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
If you cannot cancel through the app, mention this in your deletion email
and we will assist.
Response time
We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and
complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive
a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
